Fairfax Run for the Children 2016
Fairfax County Courthouse grounds
The sixth annual Fairfax CASA’s Run for the Children 8K Race & 3K Run/Walk will once again be held in historic Fairfax City. Since its inception in 2010, the race has become a “must-do” event for runners and families across Northern Virginia. On average, this race attracts nearly 1,000 runners and walkers, 250 volunteers, and raises almost $85,000 each year to support Fairfax CASA’s advocacy work with abused and neglected children in the community.
This is a great venue with an attractive USATF certified course and ample free parking. Great prizes, food, a raffle, and entertainment make this a must run event!
Online Registration is now Closed. You can still register!! Go to Pacers in Fairfax City, today from noon to 7pm and tomorrow from noon to 6pm OR at the RACE on Saturday from 6:30 am to 7:30 am!
We believe all Race attendees play a great part in helping our mission, and we’d like to recognize these superheroes. This year as part of our 3K Run/Walk we invite all child attendees to wear superhero costumes for our Superhero Children’s Fun Run! Find more information about the Superhero Children’s Fun Run here.
