Virtual Information Session for Prospective Black CASAs

30% of the children we serve are Black, but less than 5% of our CASA volunteers are Black. We know that representation matters and our children deserve CASA volunteers who share their experiences, backgrounds, and culture. It is crucial that we create a diverse pool of volunteers that reflects the demographics of the community of children we serve.

Join us for an online presentation via Zoom to learn about the role and responsibilities of a Court Appointed Special Advocate for abused and neglected children, and how to become one. You will also hear from a veteran CASA about what to expect in this unique and rewarding volunteer role. YOU can change a child’s story!
