Our 4th and Most Successful Run The Greenway Yet!
This year marked our 4th time participating in Run the Greenway—and it was our most successful year yet!
Despite the terrible weather, our spirits stayed high as we ran and walked alongside our incredible supporters like you. We loved connecting with everyone who stopped by our tent, and we’re excited to finally share the results you helped us achieve!
Donations
Last year, we raised $74,647—this year we surpassed that and raised a grand total of $79,182 ($47,382 in donations alone)!
We couldn’t have reached this milestone without YOU, our dedicated donors and supporters.
Incentives
Fairfax CASA was awarded $15,300 in incentive prizes through Run The Greenway’s competitive fundraising and recruitment challenges. See below for a detailed overview of what categories we won.
- Top Raising Large Organization: $5,000

Registered Runners
We spent the last couple of months working hard to rally our community, and your response was more than we could have imagined. Although Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA) beat us by 30 runners, we proudly took 2nd place, earning an additional $2,000 prize.

We were happy to see participation from running clubs like Amped, Las Millas, and Bricks Run Club, as well as teams from Deloitte, Christine Angles Insurance, and more. Many friends and families of our CASA community showed up and showed out.
