Meet New CASA Supervisor, Lisa Yue!

We are thrilled to announce the newest addition to our CASA team – Supervisor Lisa Yue! Lisa brings a wealth of advocacy experience to Fairfax and we are excited that she will be sharing her expertise with our CASAs. Here’s a little more about Lisa in her own words:

“I am tremendously excited to join the Fairfax CASA team and offer any support needed to ensure the success and fulfillment of our CASA Volunteers. On a personal level, I am a mother to my two beautiful daughters who are wonderful human beings – I am very proud of that as their mom. I am outgoing, very approachable, and have a friendly personality. I love my friends and value having people I love close to me, that includes my youngest son, Dani, who is my precious Maltese puppy. I am a dependable and dedicated friend, I am curious and love learning about anything. I am a very active individual, I love being outdoors – walking, running, hiking, and have become a novice bird watcher. I enjoy the beauty and peaceful stillness of the early morning when I enjoy working and reading. I absolutely love to cook it might be my most favorite hobby, and also love to eat. I love the culture and fellowship around food – growing up in a big family on both my Chinese and Italian sides. I like to describe my family’s eating culture/experience as “Amy Tan’s, Joy Luck Club meets Tomie dePaola’s, Strega Nona!”
